About Us
Friends, Fun & Fittness
"What is Physi?" you may ask...
Imagine a form of exercise that offers a little bit of Ballet, a little bit of dance & choreographed exercises incorporating Pilates & Rythmic Gymnastic movements. Throw in a sparkling leotard, shimmer tights & a pair of silver Ballet shoes & you have the very glamerous & unique sport of EP Physical Culture. Physi will improve your strength, flexibility, co-ordination & confidence.
A new syllabus is learnt each year & is mastered with regular classes. This culminates in competitons for both individuals & teams. Our zone is North Coast & we usually attend interclub competitons in August followed by our Zone competiton in October. Here the girls may be selected to go to Sydney to compete at State Finals. The Grand Final competition is then held at Sydney Town Hall at the end of November. No competiton is compulsory but they do add to Club spirit & togetherness.
Our Club is affiliated with the Edith Parsons School of Physical Culture. This is based in Sydney with Clubs like our all over the State & now including southern Queensland & Northern Victoria. Fees for Physi are very reasonable. An annual affiliation fee which includes insurance is required by the Edith Parsons School of Physical Culture & must be paid on the first day you attend classes. The term fees are reasonable & for ease of payment for parents are divided into three easy installments. A calendar of dates including when physi fees are due is available two weeks after Physi starts with updates each term as more information becomes available.
Girls & Boys from 3 year & Ladies are welcome to join our club & enjoy the benefits of Physi. Naturally the main aim of Physi is to have fun, make friends & keep fit.
